Where are you today?  Are you mentally in the right location? Are you physically where God has assigned you?  Are you making the most of every opportunity God has provided for you? If you have answered no to any of these questions it is time to realign yourself and change focus.  God wants us to keep focused on fulfilling His Mission in His Kingdom.

When I was a little girl, my Mom would ask me the question: ”What is your mission?” This question acted as a mental realignment tool as I had to stop to evaluate what I was about and be very clear about what I was doing. I can still hear this question today in my mind and it forces me to make sure whatever I am doing is lined up with what God has called me to do.  In other words, I need to flow in the direction of divine favour.   

Today God is asking us this same question:- What is your mission? Are you flowing in the direction of divine favour?  God is calling us this morning to stop and assess ourselves: mentally, physically, emotionally and all the ‘allies’. He wants us to make sure that we are on His mission.  When we are on His mission, it will lead us to hearts full of praise.  Psalm 113:3 reminds us that ‘from the rising of the sun to the going down God’s name is to be praised’.  And since the sun is always up somewhere in the earth, our praise of the Lord should be continuous.  When we praise,  He will cause His face to shine upon us , that is, His blessings/His divine favour will cause the work of our hands to not just be established but our praise as a people will transform the ability of the earth to  increase its production ( see Psalm 67:5).  Don’t we need a more productive world so that the back of poverty can be broken and people everywhere can live out their divine calling?

So today, let’s ask God to realign us in keeping with His divine mission and favour.  As our praise goes up, He will transform the work of our hands so that the whole earth will benefit exponentially. 

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, We praise you from the rising of the sun continuously.  We ask you to realign us in keeping with Your divine mission and favour.  We ask you Lord to transform the work of our hands so that your Kingdom can come and your will be done here on earth as it is in heaven.  We will flow in the direction of your divine favour. In Jesus name Amen.
