Job 6:11 “What strength do I have, that I should still hope? What prospects, that I should be patient?”

As oxygen is necessary to the body so is hope to the spirit.  Every time we breathe in we take in oxygen is circulated to every blood cell. Hope is just as necessary to our survival without it we lose the appetite for living.

Are you at the point where you have given up hope? Are you feeling like you can’t make it through another day?  You are not alone.  Many people have walked this road of hopelessness before. BUT there is good news. It is in your state of weakness, helplessness and hopelessness that you need to cast your care on the Lord for He cares for you (Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter 5:7). You need to look to the Lord from whom your help comes (Psalm 121:2).  Psalm 27: 1-2; The Lord is your light and your salvation whom or what shall you fear. The Lord is the strength of your life of whom or what shall you be afraid.  Psalm 121:5-6 “The Lord is your keeper the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not smite you by day nor the moon by night. He shall preserve your soul’. 

God Almighty will flow hope into your soul and spirit when the situation appears desperate.  When everything you try cannot work.  He will give you the necessary hope so that the rest of you (mind, heart and body) can operate effectively.

God is right now calling to life everything in your life and world that that is dead and needs revivial: your hopes, your dreams, potential, possibilities, closed, padded up doors that need to be open. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth.  Nothing is impossible for HIM. Did He not call the dry bones to live and moved them from being brittle bones in a dry desert place to being fortified living human beings transformed into His army ready to extend His kingdom?(Read Ezekiel 37).  Will He not do that for you this morning?  Believe and hope in God with your mustard seed faith.  God wants to act through you today.  satan wants to stop and thwart you for you are one of a kind.  But in the name of Jesus Christ our Leader, Lord and Saviour I come to tell you that God has a move on your life and wants you to hope in Him.  No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).  Believe the Lord.  Let your hope gain substance through your steadfast faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. 

Take a look at the widow and her son.  They had one last draining of oil in the bottle (sounds familiar) and a little tip of flour. She told the prophet that they were going to have that and die.  But what the woman did not know was that God had already ordained her for blessings of food and healing.  He had already commanded her spirit that she would feed that prophet, her son and herself. The natural would turn to the supernatural.  She was hopeless but God saw that she was on her last shed of hope and intervened.  Jehovah our provider who is more than enough for us wants to intervene in our lives this day.  Some of us are like  the widow down to our last and think there is nothing left and we are about to die.  Some of us are like the prophet where God has dried up old opportunities and is calling us to step out into the unknown into dependence on other human beings for food, clothes and shelter. But that God is still the same God today Alleluia! God is calling you to his divine provision where there is no lack.  He says: Arise out of your situation and hope in me and act accordingly.  For I am your God and I will surely give you aid.  Are you ready for the move of God?  Arise and hope in Him today

PRAYER

God I am gasping for hope like someone gasping for breath.  Breathe on me breath of God and fill me with hope and life anew through the power of your Holy Spirit.  Only then can I move into action and kingdom extension.  I am desperate so I call on you Jesus.  So let it be Lord !!! Come quickly or I die. I rest my hope in you Jesus.  Amen
