So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Galatians 6:9 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/gal.6.9.NLT

Sometimes it is easy to give up and become weary when things are not working out. When this happens you have to wrestle with the spirit of can’t bother and frustration. You have to rise above it and the pain of giving up and instead focus on the future. What’s in the future?

Firstly, the future of the right time, i.e, now is not the right time. Right now is just the process. It’s just like planting fruit seeds and having to go through the waiting period of watching them grow into fruit bearing trees. When these are seeds they are not ready to be harvested as it is not the right time.

Secondly, in the future there is a harvest of blessing that is stored up awaiting those who are willing to keep on doing good. In other words just hold strain and keep focusing on this harvest of blessing that is guaranteed for you. Can you imagine a whole harvest? Count your blessings, name them one by one.

Thirdly in the future we will reap more than what we had sown. We started out doing good but will reap an entire harvest of blessing. What blessings you ask? Look at Corinthians 9:8-10 where God speaks of blessing you abundantly so that in all things at all times you have more than enough to do every good work… and Deuteronomy 28:1-5:Blessings in the city, blessings in the country, blessings as you come and go, blessings galore.

So are you sowing good? Do you feel like giving up? Know that whenever you are feeling weary and want to give up you need to wait upon the Lord for his renewal of your strength so that you can fly like an eagle, run and not be weary and walk without fainting. So my friend don’t give up, help is on the way.

Jesus we surrender to you. We confess that we get weary and want to give up doing good. Forgive us we pray and renew our strength. In Jesus’ name and strength we pray. Amen
